Confession: I cried. Teared up a little when she died, but I was mostly just mad then. I mean, her death was probably the lamest ever.

Gee, that clone is gonna get sliced and diced. *steps in way*

Like everyone else, it's dumb that she didn't even think about her family.

The nerf tore me apart. And Dar's reaction. That released the waterworks.

But I can't wait till the Imperial Commando books are out....so mad that Traviss is quitting. No

I cried a bit, but mostly I was cursing. Never has a death made me so mad and sad at the same time. I Liked Etain, she tried to make due with the hand she was delt. Sure shes messed up a few times, but it wasn't enough to make me stop liking her. Even this last mistake, when she saved that clone, it was a reaction that she couldn't stop.

But the thing that really made me cry was when I re-read Triple Zero. It was always my favorite, but just the sense of family that was givin off by the end of the book...Man, it was something.

It was terrible. I didn't cry while reading, but when I closed the book at the very end I started bawling. I think it was the first time I had cried in a few months (maybe a year.) My mom came in a few minutes later and asked me what was wrong.
It went something like, "Mooom, Etain died and Darman's so sad. And then they had to leave Sev behind and Darman didn't leave Niner and then Kad is force-sensitive and so he knew. But he's a baby and-"
"Wait, is this about your book?"
*sniffle*"uh-huh"
Then she shook her head and left. It was pretty funny.

Thinking back on it, Etain's death does seem kind of... weird. It doesn't make much sense to me because I think that most people in that situation would've pulled out their lightsaber. I mean, she had two of them and was trained from childhood to use them. If she was acting on an impulse when she saved Mr. Random Clone I think instinct would have told her to use the force or her lightsaber. I guess her lightsabers were hidden, but still... the force! It's everywhere.
