| I liked it. Not as much as I liked the others, but it was still cool. BEWARE OF SPOILERS!!!!!! RAWR!! in fact, just to be safe.... | Spoiler: | | | I was a little upset with the random jedi nonsense. Especially when Maze called up and I thought that this meant that the "Clone Retirement inc." was actually going to start doing it's job but it turned out to be more jedi nonsense. And freaking Maze didn't have the balls to kill Zey which was... frusturating to say the least. Much as I like Djinn Altis, I thought he could have been left out, too. All he really did was complicate things and show me (again) that Etain needed to get her priorities straightened out.
The random love interests thrown in also seemed, well, random. And Jusik was left out. Of course, that puts a cramp in Shysa's evil mastermind plan, which makes me imagine Shysa setting Jusik up with random girls. I liked the romance between Mij and Uthan. It seemed so adorable and filled me with a warm and fuzzy "awwww" feeling for a while. (He also gained a permanent place on my list of favorite characters with his speech about empires and that RepoMan move he did on Mr. Deathwatch-crazyman. So freaking cool.) |
yep... that's about it... |

"Clone Retirement Inc." haha! classic
I approve of that [spoiler] code! And all in all, my feelings have calmed down about the no-sequel issue now. The story's cut short but I think we can all speculate on what likely turns this series would have taken, and we can be happy with the things we know for sure: everyone ending up marrying someone and living happily ever after. Or so it seems. |
