Basilisk War Droid - which version do you most like?

Yeah, exactly what asked in the title. I'd like to see what you guys think about Basilisk War Droids and which model you like best. Here are the pics of these:

The Original model as seen in the TOTJ comics.
The model as seen in the new Kotor comics.
The one from the Force Unleashed.
The one from Kotor 2.

Personally I like best the ones from the Kotor comics. They're the most droid like for starters, they look like they fit into the SW theme and they look very menecing. The one I like the least is the one from Kotor 2, the reason being it doesn't look like droid at all and it's like a very regular starfighter - nothing especially menecing about it. tongue

I liked the one from TFU. It's bad ass AND it's red. :p I'm a very color-oriented person.

I second this opinion.

I'd say the KotOR comic and the TFU versions. although the original from the Tales series does add the aspect of how old the sucker actually is, giving an "older version" to compare the newer models to.

Hehe yeah, exactly. Personally I think the reason for the Tales version being like it is is because the artist's style, and it's pre-Kotor games so there wasn't one specific look for the era at the time - only what Gosset had done before. It's still awesome. Laughing

I gotta go with the original from TOTJ. I'm partial to the K2 version because it is a starship (which allows for RP characters to actual travel together in the thing), but I like the original.

I can't understand why they would call it a droid, though, the K2 version that is. Laughing

There's one from TOTJ that had a two seater, actually. The one on the back had a cannon to fire, too.

I go for new KOTOR comics version. When I listened to that "How I once rode the Basilisk" Canderous's tale, I visualized something like this. Well, the TFU one is not bad either, but the Basilisk from the game is not a Basilisk at all.

Aren't they all versions of the same general design? I don't see much difference besides specific armor plating choices and colors, other than the comic artist's own style of drawing.

Uhh but anyway, I'm going to go with the TFU version simply because it's red. Red is always groovy.

*looks up from study material for Boat driver's test*

I go for the TotJ Basilisk, as it seems more challenging to take into battle and to drive.

Looking at all four I like the Kotor comics one because it looks more animalistic.

I vote for TFU one because it has a sidedish of whoop ass that comes with it xD

I don't really like any of these. I have two on my computer that I like a lot, though.

Of those options in the poll i probably like the one from TFU the most though I don't really like the nose on it that much, it just doesn't seem to be as awesome and sleek as say this one

for example, and although the one Mesh has posted is pretty BA it just seems to be lacking in the nose guns department... Lol yes I am a sucker for many BFG's!
