Alright, I'll keep my art updates in this post, and just bump the thread with a notification when I update it, to keep things nice and organized. But I'll behave and only post Mando-related stuff here.
...And thus far, I don't think I've done anything not odd or for my own personal gain. >_>' But I'm working on that! Maybe.

I'll start off by exposing you to a (horrid) sketch of...what was probably my first delving into drawing armor and such. As I did it during class and don't have a photographic memory, a lot leaves much to be desired. The narration is done by the 'me' I usually draw (which can be found randomly elsewhere in my gallery).

At the indirect prompting of a guy from the server I play on in World of Warcraft, I drew my main (a Forsaken warlock) wearing her own armor. I took it into photoshop and tinted the lineart in this version.

And the (current) grand finale, an animation of the Mythosaur skull transforming into a buy'ce (helmet). I've technically never done an animation before, so I'm relatively satisfied with it, though it'd be nice to have a program that would make it smoother for me...I know my lineart leaves a lot to be desired. ^_^' I have a terrible time controlling it.

Not really a bump so much as a "Hey, new arts!" notification, since this forum doesn't seem to be moving much...

Well, I definitely like that scull-to-helmet picture, and all the other things are good too... I think. I'm not an artist, you see, at least not as decorated as some folks around here, so my opinion doesn't have much importance. And I'm not capable of long and argumented critics just for the same reason. Still, I feel obliged to say some words fo encouragement, while all the drawing monsters are busy. I mean, I do like your stuff.

While I do love getting critiques (though they tend to be few and far-between for my lack of pestering my artsy friends for them), I thrive off feedback. Not entirely sure as to the exact reason behind it, but it's definitely encouraging and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when people take the time to say "hey, that's neat!" Especially when it's long-winded. So, thanks for your words of encouragement, as you put it. ^_^

BWAHAHAHAHA.

So, last night/early this morning (right before I went to bed) I was beamed in the face by the sudden and irresistable urge to paint a mythosaur skull on some plain shirt or other. The first I ran across was one of two tanktops I have (one is black, the other dark blue enough that I can never tell which one I have unless I hold it up against something else black, or the other one). Thought I had the blue one, but it turns out I got the black. Oh, well, whatever. I attacked it with a super-soft pencil to sketch the skull (and hot damn, was it hard to see what I was doing), then attacked again with some old acrylic paint I have and lipstick brushes I got from my mommy long ago (because I'm a bad artist and have no real paintbrushes >.>).

So, I now have an awesome tank top with a silver mythosaur skull on the belly. Which I should be able to get pictures of sometime this weekend...goin' over to Kyr'ika's house in a bit and should be able to use his sister's camera, and if not, I'll be at Bastion's on Sunday and should have no trouble convincing him to take a shot or three. *dance*

Its funny you should make a shirt with the kyr'bes on it as I have a white t-shirt with a black kyr'bes and some mando'a text written on it that was made for me by my sister as a christmas pressy for me last year It's now one of my favourite shirts...
